Don Diz was founded by Brazilian brothers Felipe and Thadeu Diz. The brand's presence stretches beyond a particular lifestyle, fashion or behavior. It was not created to supply one segment, but rather all of them. The brand is an extension to the brother’s lives, thoughts and visions. Through it’s success, the founders expanded the Don Diz family worldwide and continue to live by their life motto. Create what you like, make people happy in the process, and share what’s best in life.
Every piece that reaches a customer has gone through meticulous quality approval. Anything that carries the name has endured endless testing and sampling, and is only put out when its considered above perfect. From the fit, fabric, washing techniques to even the tags.
2009 marked an important milestone in the brand’s history. The Headquarters moved from Rio de Janeiro back to the U.S., and the Los Angeles fashion district proudly became home to all of the manufacturing.
Most importantly, the brother’s biggest motivation always involved deep philanthropy. Don Diz’s first sub-collection, The FlagCone Series, was created through a passionate collaboration with a young artist named Yumi Inada and portrays social and political expressions by showcasing flags inside the Ice Cream Cone. Part of the proceeds go to helping those in need, serving as a bigger cause and motivational factor to why the brand even exists.
